NYSPHSAA CLASS D CHAMPIONSHIP
LOUDONVILLE CHRISTIAN 0 VS. LIVINGSTON MANOR 13

Loudonville Christian advanced to the Class D state title game and then found themselves having to wait to finish it out.  Thunderstorms suspended the championship until Sundayand the Eagles entered the final frames trailing 7-0.  As the game continued on Sunday not much changed.  Loudonville Christian played with heart and pride put could not overcome and ultimately lost to Livingston Manor 13-0.  (GALLERY)

NYSPHSAA CLASS AA CHAMPIONSHIP
SHAKER 4 VS. VICTOR 5

On Saturday Shaker and Victor went back and forth scoring runs and making great plays until the game was suspended with the Bison trailing 4-3.    On Sunday the the action remained the same and it looked as though the Section II representative would have the final say.  The bases were loaded in the bottom of the seventh and Shaker star Jeff Hoffman (above) drove a deep shot to the outfield but it was caught just short of the wall and the story book ending fell short.  (GALLERY)

CLASS CC-C CHAMPIONSHIP
FORT PLAIN 5 VS.  CAMBRIDGE 1

Trailing 1-0 entering the fifth inning, Fort Plain rallied to score five runs and defeated Cambridge 5-1 for the right to advance into the NYSPHSAA tournament.  The Hilltoppers will take on Ticonderoga on Monday 4pm at Bleecker Stadium.  (GALLERY)

COLONIE  0  VS.  SHAKER  6

After a breathtaking first meeting between crosstown rivals Shaker and Colonie, the Blue Bison decided to make sure their was no question as to who the best team in Section II Class AA baseball is.  Shaker Pitcher Jeff Hoffman pitched a gem, shutting out the Garnet Raiders and giving the North Colonie school the 6-0 victory and the Section II Class AA crown. CLASS B CHAMPIONSHIP
SARATOGA CATHOLIC 11 VS.  CAIRO DURHAM 1

Saratoga Catholic has captured their third straight Section II title after defeating Cairo Durham 11 -1 on Thursday night at Joe Bruno Stadium.  Jack Keller went 3 for 4 with four RBI's and Dylan Anderson pitched a complete game four hitter to lead the Saints.  (GALLERY)

BURNT HILLS 4  VS.  SCOTIA 3

Burnt Hills scored two runs in the bottom of the Seventh to force extra innings and then scored  the game winner in the bottom of the ninth to give the Spartans the 4-3 win over Scotia to capture the Class A title.  (GALLERY)
CLASS D CHAMPIONSHIP
LOUDONVILE CHRISTIAN 13  VS.  GERMANTOWN 3

Loudonville Christian overcame a 3-1 defecit by scoring 6 runs in the fourth inning led by a grandslam by Alex Malossi.  Malosi finished the day going 3 for 4 with seven RBI's to lead the Eagles.  (GALLERY)
